You have broken the bank!

Someone wins a lot of money in a gambling place. Is "You have broken the bank!" also an idiom?

Thank you.

To win a LOT of money!

The casino or gaming place isn't really out of funds. Someone is using the phrase to note the individual has had a good run of luck and has won a signifcant amount of money.

Looking for Final Four tickets?

Unless you are willing to empty your bank account, you probably will have to find someplace other than the 46,688-seat Edward Jones Dome to watch Michigan State in the Final Four.

break the bank

To break the bank has two meanings. The first one in the conext supplied by you means that you have won all the money the dealer has.

The second meaning is an idiom. It means that you have spent all of your own money. It comes from putting all your coins (especially children) in a piggy bank. Once you have saved enough money you physically break the bank to get the money and buy whatever it is you had been saving for.
