English term

bubble machine

English Art/Literary Other bundyology
it's an episode where Wolfman Jack appears
and sits in the Bundy living room with the kids while Al & Peggy are absent. and at some point, Wolfman Jack says:
-- You know what the problem with rock'n'roll is nowadays?
to which Bud replies:
-- They took out the bubble machine.

any clues as to what's he referring to and what's funny?
thanks

automated bubble blower

I think he is just being nostalgic for the atmosphere that reigned in the sixties

Other lighting effects such as fog, bubbles and snow can all add to the experience. A bubble machine is really an automated bubble blowing machine that dips the oval rings into bubble juice and blows air through them.
